The Executive Branch (The President)

Terms and Pay​​
-The 22nd Amendment limits presidents to two terms (4 years each) of office.
-Salary: $400,000​

Office of the Vice President​
-Presides over the Senate, casting tie-breaking votes if necessary
-Helps determine

Presidential Succession​
-The 25th Amendment allows the vice president to become acting president if the vice president and the president's cabinet determine that the president is disabled, it also created a way to select a new vice president when that spot in office becomes vacant.
-Presidents can be removed from office through the process of impeachment, which is used when a president is tried and convicted of either treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors.

Roles of the President​
-Serves as the chief executive, presiding over the administration of the government.
-Appeals to the public for support of policy initiatives
-Deals with Congress, can pass/veto bills
-Negotiates with foreign powers
-Enforces laws
